This checklist is for procurement managers, maintenance supervisors, and shop owners who need consistent, reliable components. Not the kind that looks right in a catalog but fails in the field.
I've been a quality compliance manager for a mid-size equipment dealer for over 5 years now. I review roughly 200 unique part shipments annually, from final drives to hydraulic cylinders. In Q1 2024 alone, I rejected about 12% of first deliveries due to specification mismatches. So this list comes from direct experience — not theory.

Step 1: Verify the Physical Specifications, Not Just the Part Number
